Hello, I’m Alethea Synan – Founder of Mobile Denture Care

I have over thirty years’ experience working at the forefront of my profession and I am regulated by the General Dental Council, registration number 156847. As a Clinical Dental Technician, I am qualified to give expert advice about denture care and new dentures, as well as designing and making them! I set up Mobile Denture Care because I wanted to offer a unique service for people looking for new dentures – providing a full service from start to finish in the comfort of their home.

Until recently, it was necessary for patients to visit a dentist to purchase new dentures. With Mobile Denture Care, I am able to offer the complete package from start to finish. I personally undertake every stage in the process from your free consultation to taking impressions, hand-making your dentures, including repairs and full replacements, fitting and full aftercare.

What Is a Clinical Dental Technician

A Clinical Dental Technician (CDT) is specially trained in both the clinical and laboratory aspects of denture care. Unlike traditional dental technicians who work only in laboratories, Clinical Dental Technicians can work directly with patients to design and provide dentures.

I take the time to understand your concerns, discuss your options and design dentures that suit your individual needs.Your denture care is managed personally from consultation through to the final fitting, ensuring continuity, attention to detail and a personalised approach throughout the process.

As a Clinical Dental Technician with my own laboratory, I manage both the clinical and laboratory stages of denture provision, ..This allows dentures to be carefully designed and refined with particular attention to fit, comfort and natural appearance.I have always had a naturally artistic approach to my work and take great satisfaction in creating life-like  dentures that enhance my patients’ facial features and restore a confident smile.

I particularly enjoy helping patients overcome denture problems they may have struggled with for many years.Witnessing someone’s reaction when they see their new smile for the first time, and the transformation it brings, is a privilege and one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
